What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

Alive & Kicking set-up and run football making factories in Africa providing employment and as a knock-on effect providing for families and the communities of the workers. They also advocate for child’s rights and HIV awareness using the footballs as mechanisms to spread education.

Guests at the annual ALMT Burns Night gala dinner pledged their support to fund a rolling machine for the Ghana stitching centre. This allowed Alive and Kicking to roll their own leather, adding canvas backing that is required to add strength to the leather and make it suitable for football production and, importantly, make the balls last longer!
