Rescuing and caring for vulnerable children in Nepal
Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.
Child Rescue Nepal rescues and provides refuge to Nepali children who have been trafficked or displaced into India, as well as offering education and vocational training opportunities to former street children, dependents of prisoners and deaf young people in Nepal.
The ALMT is supporting five young people in Nepal, some of whom have now completed their secondary education and are taking their next steps towards full integration into society by pursuing further education or vocational training. Lives which were once characterised by fear and abuse are now ones full of hope and ambition. The young people have aspirations to become doctors, nurses, lawyers, artists and agriculture students, desiring to play a role in the future Nepal.
