Ace Africa works in rural East Africa helping children and their communities to lead healthier, happier and self-sufficient lives through improved food and economic security, health, wellbeing and rights awareness.

In remote, rural areas of Tanzania, children and families live with the daily challenges of food insecurity, ill health, poverty, sexual and gender-based violence and limited access to quality education.
Half of all Tanzanian children aged 2 – 5 do not meet basic health, learning and well-being milestones. Ace Africa works in areas where 70% of Maasai preschool children lack access to education, nutritious food and good hygiene.
Over three years, Ace Africa will raise awareness of the importance of Early Child Development (ECD) encouraging families to access support, improve facilities, renovate classrooms, train teachers and provide school feeding programmes to address malnutrition. Over the next three years, 5 schools in Monduli District Council will establish their first ever ECD facilities. Nine other schools will be helped to provide better ECD in Arusha District Council.
The children will meet key outcomes in Swahili, numeracy, and storytelling skills. Malnutrition will be reduced through the installation of stoves to provide daily fortified porridge. Approximately 28 teachers from 14 primary schools (5 new and 9 existing) will receive training in ECD and nutrition Schools based drama performances will reach 37,500 people, raising awareness. A further 5,000 adults will be reached via 25 community drama performances in public markets.
The Nasio Trust helps young mothers who have dropped out of education or training to break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children.
Afghanistan Education Action provides quality education for women and girls in Afghanistan, while championing human rights.
The Principle Trust Children’s Charity exists to support some of Yorkshire’s most vulnerable children and their families by providing free, week-long respite breaks where families can escape daily pressures, rest, reconnect and make memories that last.
Let’s Talk About Loss supports 18–35 year olds to talk about grief. By connecting with others who have experienced loss, they share their stories and struggles without fear, judgement or awkward silences.
