What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

Give a Book is a charity which sources new books at cost prices from publishers and distributes them to a range of charities and organisations, such as the Magic Breakfast Club, the Doorstep Library and some schools.

The gift of books, to those who would otherwise struggle to obtain them, is an excellent way to promote the pleasure of reading among children, and in turn strengthen their literacy and creative writing skills. Magic Breakfast enables children to benefit from a free, nutritious breakfast at schools where over 35% of pupils are eligible for free school meals. This grant supported a combination of these two programmes, ensuring that children have a healthy breakfast to start the day, while also giving them opportunity to enjoy books and encourage the love of reading.
