What is Co-Funding?

With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

The Calabash Trust aims to develop and support sustainable projects in South African townships with a focus on nutrition and education. A group of sixth formers from Reed’s School Surrey successfully laboured to build three sports fields at primary schools in the townships. The project extended and to resource a container library. It involved filling a container with books, sports and school equipment and paying to ship it to South Africa. They purchased a converted 40 foot container which has become a library at The Isaac Boi Primary School. The ALMT made a grant to the Calabash Trust UK that ensured the project was completed.
