What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

The ALMT are supporting Wallasey Sea Cadets in the purchase of vital equipment for their club house. By offering fun activities four nights per week and at weekends, Wallasey Sea Cadets can educate the cadets into becoming better citizens by tackling the problems of anti-social behaviour, street disorder, and addressing the problems of bullying, drug, and alcohol abuse in young people. Wallasey contains two of the most socially deprived wards in Britain. The cadets are a thriving unit, entirely run by volunteers and catering for over 80 youngsters each week. ‘As the borough’s Mayor and a local councillor, I believe the unit is providing a very valuable service to the local community which includes some of the Wirral’s deprived areas with considerable social needs.’ Gerry Ellis, Mayor or Wirral.
