Maintained and independent learning partnerships
Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.
SCEC enables independent schools to work together in partnership for the benefit of primary school children in Southwark by running three enrichment schemes on Saturday mornings.
The independent schools of the Dulwich Foundation (Alleyn’s School, Dulwich College and James Allen’s Girls School JAGS) provide rent-free accommodation, and pro bono administrative support and facilitation support on Saturdays.
SCEC caters for about 160 children annually and employs thirteen specialist/graduate teachers. Features of the scheme include small class sizes and one to one mentoring. The schools also provide, free of charge, administrative support including running the payroll and a staff presence on Saturdays.
