Ace Africa counsellors provide essential support and advice to the most vulnerable children. They are trained to be a comfort for those children who have experienced the most challenging start in life, touching issues on a daily basis including trauma, death of parents, early child marriage, teenage pregnancy, HIV infection and more. They are core to the ACE Africa programme and visit schools, households and the wider community on a daily basis to provide an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. Guests at the annual Burns Night gala dinner pledged their support to pay for ACE Counsellors.
