What is Co-Funding?

Co-funding with the ALMT allows individuals, other Trusts and Foundations, and Companies to contribute funds directly to individual, vetted and approved, project partnerships. With fifteen years of experience awarding grants and working in partnership with children’s organisations around the world, the ALMT is best placed to support you in your philanthropy.

A Little Gesture’s mission is to improve the living conditions of underprivileged children in the Province of Gaza, a highly impoverished region in southern Mozambique, through grassroots community projects providing access to food and education.

The Covid-19 lockdowns mean that the A Little Gesture (ALG) team has been stranded at home with little or no access to basic office facilities. This has made it very difficult to deliver any support to families and run existing programmes. This grant is providing portable laptops, modems and datat at 8 locations and benefitting 1,438 children daily. Staff are able to run health and social care initiatives, maintain minimal levels of education support and organise efforts to fight child hunger. Up-to-date equipment enables improved education at the ALG pre-schools and after-class tutoring centres and this equipment will have a long-term effect on the quality of education and operations of all ALG projects.
