Our intrepid swimmer fears a busy race

Chris is taking part in the British Gas London Swim which unimaginably starts out at the Royal Victoria Dock and will see brave souls swim one mile for charitable causes. Chris gave us an up-date:

"I am 2 weeks into training and have 4 weeks to go. Record numbers have entered for the London Swim
and 5000 people are expected to take part going off at 5 different times 45 minutes apart, that is still 1000 people per start time so I hope getting in won’t be too problematic. I have skipped strength training to concentrate on speed and endurance training and managed to swim 600 metres in 12 minutes yesterday, that puts me on track for 1500 meters in 30 minutes and I hope to knock a minute or two off that on the day. My minimum donation target was £1000 and I am pleased to say that I have raised £750 so far so hopefully and I can continue to comfortably beat my minimum target."

To help Chris beat his fundraising target, follow the link and support his challenge, raising money for fantastic projects is only a few clicks away!
