Tennis aces raise a smashing amount for the ALMT.

A hotly anticipated tennis match between the chosen players from Global Markets at Deutsche Bank, Xavi (Rioja) Avila and Michael Kudena raised over £4,000 for the ALMT’s projects.

Alex Wilson provided a match report: ‘A crowd of over 40 gathered at the Harbour Club to watch the battle of the year; Germany versus Spain, Sales versus Structuring, Experience versus Promise.’

“A strong start from both players saw them each hold serve up to 3-3, but a break of serve in the 7th game saw the German take the upper hand and the set finished 6-3, much to the delight of the (mainly German) crowd. The Spaniard battled hard in the second set but the fatigue started to kick in and after the second break of serve the crowd knew it was all over. Rioja battled hard all the way and despite some incredible shots and all the flair he could muster the German efficiency was overwhelming and the match ended 6-3 6-2.”

None of our projects would exist without the loyal supporters of the ALMT, please visit our project pages to find out more.
