Summer fund raising

On the 10th July my father hosted the Second ALMT Golf Day held at Dulwich & Sydenham Golf Course which raised £4,685. Thank you to all the teams who entered and played and those would bid generously in the auction at the dinner in the evening. It was an excellent event and I was grateful for the chance to speak at the dinner about the projects we are involved in.

Thanks to Claire Loftus and all the staff and pupils at Kensington Prep School who raised over £500 for the ALMT through a series of events in summer term.

A big thank you to Amy Parker and the Charities of the Year team at Deutsche who over the summer through a pub quiz, holiday raffle, wine tasting, treasure hunt, pentathlon, and singing event raised £14,660 for the ALMT. Almost most half of that came from those who raced across 3 borders, climbed mountains and raised money for the ALMT doing the Three Peaks Challenge between 7th August and 9th August 2009. We have yet to receive a final fund raising figure here but it is £6,800 to date!

A massive thank you to everyone involved. Nick
