Welcome to the ALMT
The Angus Lawson Memorial Trust is a registered children’s charitable trust created for the mitigation of suffering of the world's most marginalised children regardless of geography, ethnic background, class or religion. The ALMT offer food, medical and survival remedial support followed by health care, educational and self-sufficiency programmes. The ALMT also offer grief and bereavement support to parents and children in the UK.
From its inception the ALMT had no administration costs or payment of professional salaries as all costs were incurred by the Trustees. From January 2010, due to the rapid and sizeable growth of the ALMT, the Trust will incur certain costs that will equate to no more than 5% of net income.
The ALMT was established in 2006 by Nick and Kara Lawson following the tragic death of their two year-old son Angus.
By the close of 2011 the ALMT had engaged globally in more than 45 public and private projects. See some of our achievements over the past 5 years working in partnership with some truly incredible and inspiring organisations in our 5 year celebration slideshow
